Visiting any church for the very first time can be overwhelming. At Lighthouse Baptist Church, we’ll do our best to make you feel at home. We are a growing, vibrant church with a place for you and your family. We believe you will find our worship meaningful, our fellowship inviting, and our preaching to be biblical, engaging, and practical. What safety measures have been taken?
1. Stay Home when Appropriate
- If you are visibly sick or have any symptoms, stay home and watch online.
- If you are immune-compromised, 65+, or have been exposed to someone who is sick, we ask you to use your best judgment in joining us.
2. Modified Group Setting
- Encourage respectful distancing.
- Discourage sharing of items that are difficult to clean or disinfect.
- Ensure adequate supplies to minimize sharing.
- Disinfect frequently touched surfaces between services.
- Provide physical guides/markings for lines or seating.
3. Cleaning and Disinfection
- Train leaders on enhanced cleaning protocols.
- Required to sanitize hands upon arrival.

Do I need to wear a mask?
Please follow your conscience in this matter.
The safety of our church members is of utmost importance. Hand sanitizing stations have been placed throughout. There will be a certified cleaning company sanitizing the facility. We ask you to stay home if you or your children have any signs of illness.
Can I use the bathrooms?
Bathrooms will be available.

Our services are held at Lighthouse Baptist Church in the Main Sanctuary.

How long does your church service last?
Our worship service centers on God and the preaching of His Word. Every hymn, worship song, chorus, or special focuses your heart and mind on God. You can expect our worship service to last around an hour.
What should I wear for a church service?
We want you to feel welcome and comfortable here at The Lighthouse. Many of our church family dress up for our services, but feel free to wear what’s comfortable for you.
Where should I park?
Accessible parking is available for all church guests and church family. Park within the School parking lot, along Kossuth Ave or in front of the Main Sanctuary on Blandina.
Where do I take my children?
Our children’s ministry, which meets in the School building, across the street from the Sanctuary, includes children’s Sunday school classes, and children’s church. The Nursery is located within the Main building and adjacent to the Sanctuary.
What about my teenagers?
Junior High and High school students meet in the School building. They will be dismissed to go to their class after participating in the singing and announcements, during the morning service. To learn about other activities, visit our youth ministry page
What adult classes are available?
Our adult ministry meets for Bible study class during the Sunday School hour at 10:00am.

Children Ministry
We are so excited to welcome you and your kids into our ministry! While the adults are worshipping the Lord in the Main Sanctuary, your children have the opportunity to worship the Lord in children’s church. At Lighthouse you will find a Christ-centered, Bible-based, safe, and fun ministry for your children. We want every child to know God’s love and the wonderful truths He has for them in His Word.
Children enjoy a variety of activities such as singing, hearing missionary stories, and learning a Bible lesson.
Children’s Sunday school classes meet in the School Building, across from the Main Sanctuary Building.
Nursery
Lighthouse Baptist Church strives to provide a happy, healthy, and safe environment in the nursery. The Nursery is located within the Main building and adjacent to the Sanctuary.
Youth Ministry
High School
Here in the Lighthouse Youth, we understand High School is an awkward time of life for most young people. Students spend a lot of time “being grounded” because of bad choices; however, we here in the High School Ministry would rather see the “Grounded” in the love of Jesus Christ.
At Lighthouse they will find a staff who genuinely desires to help them grow in their walk with Christ. It is our goal to see each teen establish and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We provide a variety of events as well as a focus on Bible study that will enable your student to become “Grounded” in things that really matter. We want to provide teens with not only opportunities to have fun with each other in a safe environment, but also to have opportunities of service both in our church and our community.
Jr. High School
The Jr. High Ministry’s desire is that our students would truly establish their relationship with the Lord as their own during these short years. Our hope is that they would take genuine ownership of their walks with God. We want them to realize that the greatest joy and satisfaction that they can possess is found only in Jesus. Our prayer is that the Jr. High Ministry would be a place of community—where students can connect with one another, worship freely, and dive into God’s Word, all while having fun along the way.
Adults Ministry
The goal of our adult Bible study classes is to grow your faith and understanding of God through in-depth Bible study. It is our prayer that all would learn what it means to apply the Word of God in their daily lives, while investing in others lives through prayer and loving support of one another through each season of life. These classes also provide you with regular Christian fellowship and activities. Class meets at 10 a.m. every Sunday.
