Outreach
Lighthouse Baptist Church is committed to sharing the Gospel in the surrounding area, but we want to do more than just drop an invitation at someone’s door; We want people to know that we care about them and more importantly, that God cares. As a church, it is our responsibility to show God’s love and His Light…JESUS.
Door–to–Door
Weekly, we share the Gospel and invite people from the Utica area to our services.
Community Events
Throughout the year, we hold community-focused events like our Love Thy Neighbor Blessing Bags: Thank you for Being our Neighbor (non perishable foods), Showers of Blessings (Cleaning & Sanitizing items), Grow Love, Reap Joy (Plants), Love the Children (school supplies), and Harvest Blessings (Thanksgiving items)….so we might share with others the transforming love of God.
Help us reach our community with the Gospel through several regular outreach activities and community-wide events,
there is a place of service for you.
Children
The Children’s Ministry is an integral part of Lighthouse Baptist Church. Get involved in helping them to hide the truths of God’s Word in their young hearts.
Prayer
Prayer is a vital part of the Christian life and an important part of worship. Join other Lighthouse men and women in prayer as we pray for our missionaries, our church, and each other.
Care
By caring for one another, you are actively Loving God, Loving People.
Property Caretakers
Caring for the buildings & property is another opportunity of service and always needed.
- Green thumb Ministry: Lawn Care & Flower Maintenance,
- Dust Buster Ministry: House Cleaning and regular upkeep
- Interior Design Ministry: Decor and aesthetics
- and so many more ministries to utilize your gifts of service.
Music
Serve the Lord through music in singing specials and/or playing an instrument. This exciting ministry helps to prepare our hearts for worship and for the preaching and teaching of God’s Word.
Loving God, Loving People means serving. Like many other churches, Lighthouse Baptist Church could not function without its volunteers. Weekly, volunteers help us meet the specific needs of our church family and our community by using their gifts in one or more of the many ministry opportunities available.
